Asian Pacific Historic District
In tandem with Rick Engineering who is doing the streetscape improvements, Bennett Peji Design was hired to develop and implement a district brand based on a 1987 master plan for the 8-block district in downtown San Diego. The main criteria was to find commonality and respectfully represent the Chinese, Japanese and Filipino communities that all lived there at one time or another.
